ADULT DIVISION PERCUSSION GROUP CLASSES
Adult Division Group Classes for Percussion are available for the following levels: Beginner / Intermediate
- Beginner level (for starters and previous participants with less than 2 completed terms)
- Intermediate level (for previous participants with 2 or more completed terms of 'Drum & Beatz' or equivalent previous percussion experience)
What are AD Group Classes?
AD Group classes are designed to ensure that your learning outcomes are based upon your experience when you begin, and what you wish to achieve during your course of study.
Percussion Group classes examine basic and progressing rhythm patterns to sculpt your percussion skills.
Whether you're a complete starter or have already done a previous iteration of this course, our ensemble-focused approach promotes collaboration and camaraderie, enabling you to explore the world of percussion together.

There are no mandatory exams or assessments as part of the Adult Division group classes. However, exams or assessments can be planned together with your tutor and prepared for during each running term.
Group class participants can look forward to an expert tutor leading their classes, as well as a supportive learning environment through peer to peer learning.
Possible class concerts will present fun and motivational challenges for you and your study colleagues.

Class Times, Duration and length of term:
All Adult Division Instrumental/Voice Group classes are Evening Classes, with a duration of 60 minutes per class.
Each term runs for 12 classes (Each new term schedule will be announced by your tutor – e.g. to inform you about possible mandatory breaks like bank holidays or other teacher related breaks)

Please note:
RIAM provides all percussion instruments during class times only.
For home practise it is recommended to discuss possible equipment options with your tutor. (i.e. a drum pad & sticks, etc.)
