  • 11:45 AM - 12:00 PM     Coffee break
  • 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM       Session 1: Creative Composition for primary schools (continued) (Tutor: Patrick O'Brien - MG Limerick County)
  •   1:00 – 1:45 PM             Lunch (Cold lunch provided by RIAM)
  •   1:45 – 3:00 PM             Session 2:  Integrating Multicultural Influences into practice (Tutor: Karen Cowley - Lead Tutor MG DC)
  •   3:00 – 3:15 PM             Coffee break 
  •   3:15 -4:30 PM              Session 3: MG Class Planning and Preparation Workshop (Tutor: Patrick O'Brien - MG Limerick County)

  • 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM       Session 1: Practical Dalcroze Method workshop)* (continued) (Tutor:  Kathrine Barnecutt - Irish Chamber Orchestra)
  •   1:00 – 1:45 PM             Lunch (Cold lunch provided by RIAM)
  •   1:45 – 3:00 PM             Session 2: Accessibility Adaptations for music sessions, with a focus on neurodiversity (Tutor: Ríona Sally Hartman)
  •   3:00 – 3:15 PM            Coffee break 
  •   3:15 -4:30 PM              Session 3: “Ciorcal Ceoil” – Irish songs and adaptations workshop. “Simple and fun original songs in Irish for young children” (Tutor: Ríona Sally Hartman)
  •   4:30 PM                       End of Training

 

* If you would like to bring your specific instrument to integrate it into your practice/tutition it’s encouraged

* Please bring comfortable clothes and shoes on the day, to allow them easy moving during the workshop

 

Travel/Parking:

No free parking available on the RIAM campus.  Street Parking around RIAM (in designated areas) is free on Sundays.

Alternatively, RIAM is conveniently accessible by Bus, Commuter / Dart (Dublin Pearse - 2-minute walk to RIAM).
