This one-day ONLINE course will cover all aspects of approaching the 25% Music Technology option. Date displayed provisional. (See below)

By registering now, you do not commit to the course and no payment will be taken at this stage. Your name will be added to a list of the 25 available places, which will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
In this one-day course, Kim Fallen Bailey, RIAM teacher, will cover all aspects of approaching the 25% Music Technology option as part of the Leaving Certificate Music performance component.
Kim will take participants through each stage of the question, as well as giving tips on useful techniques and the marking scheme involved.
The following will be covered on the day:
Show students how to set up and input scores on 'Musescore 4'
Overview and practise of editing options
Complete a mock examination on this component live during the course
Kim Fallen Bailey graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 2007 with an Honours Degree in Music Education and a Commendation Award for Teaching. Her work in Crannog Nua Special School involves teaching music to children with emotional and behavioural difficulties. She is also the founder and director of Ceol Draíochta music school in Donabate, Dublin, where she teaches piano and theory and provides vocal training and Grinds for Junior and Leaving Cert students.
Kim delivers the 2-year Leaving Cert Music course in the Royal Irish Academy of Music. She designed and delivers the Foundations for Leaving Cert Music 1-year preparatory course. She also developed and directs the RIAM’s e-course, Teaching Leaving Cert Music, Sets A and B.
