Leaving Cert Music Technology

This one-day ONLINE course will cover all aspects of approaching the 25% Music Technology option. Date displayed provisional. (See below)

After the department announced the LC Practical exams to take place between the 8th and 19th of April, we have reviewed our date for the LC Music Technology course, and rescheduled it to Thursday the 4th of April, to keep the course date closer to the actual exams.

In this one-day course, Kim Fallen Bailey, RIAM teacher, will cover all aspects of approaching the 25% Music Technology option as part of the Leaving Certificate Music performance component.

Kim will take participants through each stage of the question, as well as give tips on useful techniques and the marking scheme involved.

  • Show students how to set up and input scores on 'Musescore 4'

  • Overview and practice of editing options

  • Complete a mock examination on this component live during the course

Course was great! I knew a little about music tech but my teacher in school knew next to nothing about it. This course helped me to learn what I need to know for the leaving cert music technology option. Thank you Kim! (M. Mann)
