AD P&D (Advanced Level) Group Classes

Performance & Diploma Group Classes focusing on repertoire and performance skills.

Description

Adult Division P&D (Performance & Diploma) Group Classes

The Performance & Diploma Group Classes, focusing on repertoire and performance skills, are for advanced students with a previous RIAM tuition background only.

These classes offer adult learners with previous Adult Division or Junior RIAM 1:1 background the opportunity to continue with advanced-level instrumental/singing tuition, now in small group settings of 2-3 students per group.

Classes are subject to sufficient subscriptions received, e.g. min 2 students per class, and are being delivered according to the following model:

  • Class size 1:   2 students (60 minutes per class) x 10 classes

  • Class size 2:   3 students (90 minutes per class) x 10 classes

Classes will be facilitated in two blocks of 10 classes (1st term (September to December) x 10 classes + 2nd term (January - April) x 10 classes and are bookable per academic year:

€830 for 20 classes, with a choice of payment in full upfront or two instalments:

  • the 1st instalment of €415 is due by 15th May 2024 (for the 1st term starting in September 2024)

  • the 2nd instalment of €415 is due by 1st of October 2024 (for the 2nd term starting in January 2025)

All group class teachers are encouraged to accommodate specific students' needs, with possible flexibility, e.g. focused 1:1 mini-sessions that fit in the 60/90 min x 10 classes (per term) model, with interspersed group engagement.

Prerequisites

These classes are only available for Adult Learners (18+) who previously received 1:1 lessons in either Adult Division or Junior RIAM and wish to continue with advanced high-level tuition through a member of the RIAM faculty.

Tutors

Your teacher(s) were given the option to opt for this model of offering you continued lessons through this Performance & Diploma group classes model.

If your teacher chose not to make themselves available for such, RIAM will strive to find a suitable replacement teacher to offer you the opportunity to continue your lessons (on this group model basis).

You might want to discuss this with your current teacher before booking.
