'For the Love of Piano' with Professor Anthony Byrne offers a weekly casual session for anyone who loves piano and piano playing.

Tony will present and perform various topics, as well as listening and discussing;

  • Great piano repertoire and pianists of the 20th and 21th century
  • Notable recordings and videos of these pianists
  • Exploring the difference between the various piano schools; Russian, American, Italian, British and more
  • Discovering the secrets of the great pianists and what makes them successful
  • Following the cult pianists and leading entertainers in both classical and jazz

This light hearted and informative weekly course will give participants an opportunity to discuss their own personal favourites and noteworthy piano stories, alongside the expert demonstration of technique and style from host, Tony.

Enjoy the sights, sounds and history of piano in a friendly, relaxed class with one of Ireland's leading piano performing teachers.
